The Housing Authority and Public Rental Board’ Board of Directors and key management staff will be touring the Northern Division from Wednesday 1st – Saturday 4th April for the first time. This is a familiarization visit to the North and the Board is keen in determining the demand for housing in the Northern Division.
On this trip they will be holding meetings with key stakeholders such as NLTB, Water and Sewerage, FSC, and the Local Authority and discuss the Look North Policy and how the Housing Authority and PRB can contribute and assist government to achieve its policy.
The team will also be distributing the HA/PRB flood appeal items which were collected by these institutions to customers who were affected by the recent floods. The distribution will be done in the Vunimoli Community hall for Naodamu Housing and PRB tenants.
The HA/PRB is trying to evenly distribute its development around the country and would like to acquire a market survey before engaging in any new projects to gauge the demand. It is also hoping to acquire new land for future development at reasonable price.
