Press Release

Housing Authority will play host to the Fiji National Blood Service at its Lautoka and Nasinu offices.

The Blood drive is a collaboration between the two organisations to replenish the supply available at our Lautoka and Suva hospitals.

Housing Authority chief executive officer Alipate Naiorosui said, “We will be partnering with the Blood Bank to help supplement the existing supply available that will assist fellow Fijians in critical medical need”.

There is a high demand for blood transfusion at both the hospitals that has led to a shortage in current supply.

Naiorosui continued, “I would also like to extend the invitation to members of the public to come to our offices and donate blood”.

Following a letter from the Fiji National Blood Service, Housing Authority has agreed to the blood drive that will be carried out from 10 am to 4pm at both locations.
